Bringing the freshness, as is the job description, and a Bandcamp Friday is no exception. Might slow us up just a little, but the job is to bring the brightest and best, and we’re about it. This weekend’s headliners include The Stargazer Lilies (new single!), the long-awaited return of AEROFALL (pictured above, photo credit to Nika Nechiporenko), a world radio premiere single from Elephants and Dogs (album drops 9 September on Look Up Records), Shadows Tranquil, Aluminum, Submotile, For Tracy Hyde, Laveda, Catch The Breeze, Death of Heather, Fazerdaze, Knifeplay, Living Hour, puppy angst, Magic Shoppe, Pastry, Terra Pines, WYYM, and another brilliant cut from Sloe Noon. And that’s just the frontline topline, there’s so much more! Bubble Tea and Cigarettes brings Julee Cruise flavors, and they’re golden. And we’re keen on new sounds from Palm Ghosts, combers, Allwax, Broken Head, Casino Garden, CHIVVY, Black Market Karma, Forever Honey, Keep, Magic Shoppe, Pale Dian, Pastry, Shamewave, shedfromthebody, SPC ECO, The Death of Pop, Indoxables, Virgins, Welcome Strawberry, and so much more. It’s big.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Landlords, Clear Capsule, bolinas, April June, Melting Palms, Bleach Lab, エイプリルブルー / AprilBlue, Uniforms, Welcome Strawberry, Black Nite Crash, Soft Pastels, Paradise Blossom, Strawberry Generation, Melts, The Dreamtoday, Surf Rock is Dead, Hey Calamity, Ignoran, Freak Slug, echo, Cheerless, Beach Vacation and so much more. We’re filled to capacity, plus some.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support.
