Bandcamp Friday grinds some processes to a crawl, as every qualified artist (and a few less qualified) vie for attention and appreciation. Having sorted and rotation weighted over 120 tracks, we’ll try to appreciate every artist we can this weekend. And there’s a lot to celebrate. New albums from Alvvays, Bolinas, absinthe father, Beabadoobee, Lilac, Night School, Indoxables, MILLY, No Sun, and Twin Drugs (pictured above) are all headliners and we’ll try to keep you up to speed. On top of that, album preorders are either announced or partially unlocked for station favorites Sobs, overly polite tornadoes, The Stargazer Lilies, dottie, Say Sue Me, and much more. New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others.
