Wouldn’t have thought we’d have this kind of new release volume the week after Bandcamp Friday, but we’re capable of dealing with the deluge. Sixty-plus new tracks vying for your attention and appreciation this weekend, with headliners including Castlebeat, Pink Mexico, Gloomhead, Silverdeer (pictured above), 11:11, 44go, closeout, Lobster, brightmoon, Intercurrent, Lozenge, and You Must Believe in Spring. That’s but scratching surface, as we’re also celebrating new sounds from Sea Of Days, Hollow Street, Slow Television, Pyr, SSAAN, Cameron Clark, Indoxables, Pete Fij, KEELEY, Helens, PIECES, Autista, and the tasty grunge pop of PONY. We’re packed.

And all that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including A Shoreline Dream, Vixsin, Cruush, Diffident Daffodils, Meraung, Tombstones In Their Eyes, Lingerveil, Essencer, Tribes of the City, Wings of Desire, March Dove, dvrkworld, UN-TER, Katarsis, bill., un año en la selva, Biiiuh, Exiter, Modest Oda, blosum, Strange Fruit, and An Ocean of Embers. Your new music discovery is covered, all weekend long.

New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
