New airplay charts celebrate the new album from Seattle’s somesurprises, as well as the new Hazel English release. Riley’s Mountain continues to show strength, as does astronomies (twice, at that). We also celebrate Jeff Kandefer’s new project (of Daysleepers fame), Red Sun 1981, plus Meltway, Bad Bloom, The Virginia Planes, and adiós cometa. It’s a great year for shoegaze and dream pop.
