2019 ends with a bang, not a whimper. Our last hurrah of the shoegaze year is Star Shine Fest 2019 in Denton, TX, with ten incredible bands ringing out the old year in epic fashion.

We’ve gotten email. “Why can’t you do some form of Dreamgaze ATX in the greater Dallas area?”. Well, primarily because we haven’t developed venue/booker relationships in Dallas. But if there’s one show that would best approximate DreamGaze, this is it. If you’re a fan of the station, if you love shoegaze and dream pop, and you can get your happy arse there, this is the bill you’ve waited for. Congrats to the Rei Clone squad for building something this unmissable.
It’s not our show. It’s not our bill. But if we were lucky enough to select a bill for a show in the greater Dallas region, we simply couldn’t do any better than this. Many of the bands featured have played DreamGaze ATX, and several surely will in the future. And most all of these bands are heard regularly on our airwaves.
