Krissy VanderWoude got the opportunity to sit down and chat with the cast of Film School (some of them, anyway) about the creative process, tour planning during the COVID era, the addition of new cast members (and much more) for her 18 August 2021 transmission of Drowned in a Sea of Sound. While that interview was pared down to a bite-sized seven minutes, this extended cut provides a much wider lens on the band and their current goals. We present it here partly as a musical feature, partly as an historical document, as Film School have been honing their sound and public profile for years, and they keep reaching new heights (and new ears) in the process.
