Maybe new to us, but certainly not new: Nim have released three full-length albums and many other singles, and have also conducted large-scale overseas tours in Australia, China, and South Korea. While their new EP was recorded in Kyoto, it is mixed and mastered in Austin, and represented by two labels: FABTONE for Asian territories, and Shifting Sounds for much the rest of the world. To generate this much international attention, it suggests Nim are doing something right.

Released Friday, February 23rd, the forthcoming EP from Nim is titled Mushy, and we’ve got the video premiere for the title track, which is released worldwide this morning. While the Japanese-to-English translations can be challenging, the ambition, the epic sweep of the tune cannot be denied. We’re proud to present the worldwide video premiere of “Mushy” from Nim.
