DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
Andy Jossi is never one to do a thing halfway. His sonic sculptures rival his visual work in depth and intensity, as rich visuals often match sumptuous sonic swells. Sure, we may have occasionally chided about near-epic-length songs, but The Churchhill Garden is his project: he writes the sonic structure, he decorates with swirls and filigree, and he allows each creation to unfold at its own pace, never sacrificing until the completed work matches his exacting standards. His vision will not be compromised, and the final product always bears out his vision.
Releasing 18 March: a fresh chapter in the collaboration between Andy Jossi (The Churchhill Garden) and vocalist Krissy Vanderwoude, “Rearview Mirror” is as visually enticing as it is aurally sumptuous. But of course it is. It’s The Churchhill Garden! Any less would be …somebody else’s work.
“Rearview Mirror” is the next single from the transoceanic shoegaze and dreampop duo, The Churchhill Garden. What begins as a delicate acoustic song eventually explodes into a noisy wall of sound, taking the listener on an emotionally enveloping journey, filled with unexpected twists and turns. Much like the bittersweet relationship that Krissy is singing about in her lyrics, this song has many heartwarming, delicate and intimate moments, as well as intense highs and heartbreaking lows.

Suffice to say, it’s a feast for the eyes AND ears. And we’re here for it. ‘Nuff said.
By the time this post and video is made public, the single should be available for purchase on Bandcamp. So don’t hesitate. Treasures like this aren’t discovered every day.
Keep up with The Churchhill Garden via the website, and Facebook page.
