New weekend, new web host, same platform, let’s go. We’ve dense-packed the weekend with all manner of sonic sparkle for your entertainment. First among equals, veteran sonic sculptors Airiel (pictured above), bringing the wallop in performance for Audiotree Live. If you were lucky enough to catch the recent tour, it’s like the cherry atop your ice cream. We’re also celebrating new releases from Hana McCartney, Acid Wave, Glixen, Hey Calamity, Marto, Pink Mexico, hyperlilly, Temple of Angels, Strangers In My House, Heavytrip, Citrus Clouds and THALA. Not to rest there, we’re also shuffling in some compelling new tuneage from SingingGum, Kitten Paws, Glazyhaze, A Lesser Version, quiet/creator, straygaze, Gae Vinci, Blackberry Pyper, The Guap Squad Gang featuring Hannah Sandoz, Aire Espacial, some sweeping ambient-tinged noise from Swartz et, and additional choice cuts from the much-anticipated new Sun Shines Cold long-player. It’s a full weekend of stellar sounds, neatly wrapped and presented to you.
And that’s in addition to last weekend‘s fresh sonic injections, including Bodywash, Cruush, Bridge Dog, Crystal Canyon, Draag, Hannah Jadagu, Iress, hiçamahiç, Nah, She’s Green, Old Coke, Teenage Wrist, and local standouts Paradise Blossom. And that’s just the “above the fold” crew, we’ve got a far deeper bench than just that: we’re also keen on the newest sounds from Mazey Haze, Juan Cordero, The True Faith, Sinope, The Mists, Glaring, Troller, Max Black, The Real Sea, You Wish, So It Goes HK, DIAL, Supergloom and more. It’s a full roster of newness, and we’re here for it.
New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others.
