There’s a lot to celebrate this weekend: from stunning debuts, to the return of old favorites, to the collaborations you didn’t know you needed. It’s all here. Headliners this weekend include Softcult, Tincture (debut from original members of Angel Aura), Skeever, Roving, Quiet Houses, Rat Palace, Our Girl (pictured above), No Vacation, LAAVU, Kai Tak, and Broken Head. But lest you believe that’s all we have to offer, let us disabuse you of that notion. We’re also exploring fresh sounds from Palm Ghosts, Adiós Cometa, Backwards Charm, Allwax, cathedral bells, glaring orchid, Crimson Whisper, Honeywave, Kindsight, nabeel (نبيل), otom, Salt+, The Essential Ether, WYWY, The Starling Effect, Blockbuster and more. It’s all we can do to shove it into one weekend’s airplay, we’ll see what we can do.

New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others.
