Some really special sounds emanating from your digital radio this weekend, many from artists you’re unfamiliar with. First to be celebrated: Surabaya Indonesia’s CROUD (pictured above), with a polished demo that sounds like veteran tour warriors and crowd pleasers, out now on Haum Entertainment. You’ll be hearing them a lot on our airwaves, and we doubt you’ll complain. We’re also deeply digging into the new release from Argentina’s Riel, who bring feeling and flavor to the sound, and it’s certain to make an impression. We’re also celebrating Eosine, butohes, Wine Pride, and Strangers In My House. Oh, and the new single from Pink Mexico just unlocks another level, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Not content to rest on our laurels, we’re also spinning up Perlee, Long Beard, Human Colonies, Miguel Uribe, Novanta, INDIGOS, Emerald Comets, Central Pacific State Beach, KEELEY, beabadoobee, and an arresting Mazzy Star cover from The Silent Era. It’s a lot, and we’re here for it.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Airiel, Hana McCartney, Acid Wave, Glixen, Hey Calamity, Marto, hyperlilly, Temple of Angels, Heavytrip, Citrus Clouds, THALA, SingingGum, Kitten Paws, Glazyhaze, A Lesser Version, quiet/creator, straygaze, Gae Vinci, Blackberry Pyper, The Guap Squad Gang featuring Hannah Sandoz, Aire Espacial,  Swartz et, and additional choice cuts from the new Sun Shines Cold long-player. It’s a full weekend, and we’ve got your new music discovery covered.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Live365, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
