73 new tracks, sorted and rotation weighted, all packed into a weekend’s treasure chest of sonic sparkle. Headliners include MASS OF THE FERMENTING DREGS and Pencey Sloe (pictured above), both of whom have had audiences excited for new album release: it is here, it is now. But we’re also celebrating the new album from GRAZER, Why Bonnie, Sinking, and Winter Of Our Faith, plus new EPs from Huan Huan 緩緩 and Goodbye Ranger. Solid singles include station favorites Soft Blue Shimmer, plus Floorshow (premiered on our air last week during Static Sounds Club), Helens, Carina Messier, Allwax, Heaven Slept, Magic Wands, HIGH/LOW, Lilac, Mute Swan, Nuclear Daisies, Old Moon, plaaaato, Silvermash, Tide Bends, Spooky Boys, The Black Fever, Lurid Purple Flowers, Mirror Ritual, Cinema Hearts, The Rocky Valentines and more. Packed.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Alvvays, Cruel Sister, Julie, Sungazer, Milly, Twin Drugs, The Dreamtoday, BED, Lumenette, Mouse, Bellavista, Slo Moon, absinthe father, Bathrobe, Churrus, Desert Flower, Dial Tone, Pope, Ruined Church, Screens 4 Eyes, Skuund, Spirits of Leo, Teen Blush, Terra Pines, The Death Of Pop, and VVOLVES. It’s a lot, but we’ve got this.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support.
