New Tracks Weekend

New Tracks Weekend, August 24-26

Too much new stuff. This weekend we’re thrilled to push through a few choice cuts from next week’s album release by Many Voices Speak. We’ve been spinning the first single from the Tank Town LP (and gotten great response), but now we’ve got hands on the rest of the album, and there’s some real dream pop treasures here. Out next Friday, we’ll sprinkle the weekend with some sparkle from the forthcoming album. But we’ve also got fresh tracks from Nothing, Emmaline Twist, Blue Haze, etti-etta, Chico Bestia, Fir, Heavydive, Just Like Honey, Medejin, Papercuts, Snail Mail, Muff, The Vera Violets, Tribes of the City, Static Shore, Trillion, Youngest of Elders, and Yumi Zouma. And we’re still adding, tweaking shuffling, even at this late hour, trying to perfect the presentation.
And that’s in addition to last weekend’s freshness, including Peel Dream Magazine, The Raft, Geowulf, drop like stars, The Dunes, Sobrenadar, Memory Leak, Our Girl, Glare, Still Corners, No Swoon, Single Lash, OH LA KANADA, Sunbather, Fawns of Love, Annabel Allum, Stardazer, Twin Studies, Sharesprings, Underground Youth, In Drift, Melody’s Echo Chamber, In This Mode, and much more.
New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM,  on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our NEW branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! Or load up the “Internet Radio” tab of your iTunes desktop client, and you’ll find DKFM Shoegaze Radio under ‘Alternative’. You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed, as we’re live-tweeting every track on our sub-Twitter DKFMTracks account, and we’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
