It’s a BIG weekend for the big sound. Besides the epic DreamGaze Festival LA on Saturday night, we’re rolling out the newest and freshest sound we can get hands on. We headline with a world premiere from Seattle’s Season of Strangers, who are wrapping up their new EP, coming soon to a Bandcamp near you. But the new doesn’t end there. New Tamaryn. New music from Pure Phase Ensemble 4, featuring Mark Gardener. New tunes from the upcoming Presents for Sally LP, Colours and Changes, due this month on Saint Marie Records. A key track from the impending Static Daydream LP that’ll rattle your teeth. Much from Shallow’s Feel Goods! LP, about to play a big role at DreamGaze LA. The just-released single from the ever-awesome Makaras Pen. A brand new single from Melbourne’s VHS Dream, in advance of the debut LP expected in November. A taste of the new Dream Suicides Soft Feelings LP. And the brand-shiny-new single from Angel Falls and Spell 336, sure to brighten any dark day. Just to top it off, we’re playing classic Ride live tracks to bookend your weekend. All shiny, all’a time.
Still pushing Blindness, DROEM, Jay Penaflor, 2;Frail, Blind Mr. Jones, Leonard Las Vegas, Soft Summers, Blue Herons, Alderanne, maquinas, Moving Panoramas, Cat Hair, Orange Vision, The Foreign Resort, TUATH, We Are Temporary, Time Spent Breathing, King Penguin, and (surely not least) the texture and color of Wozniak.
New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Latin America relay: try Radio Terra. And still commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.
All shiny, all’a time.
