DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
Juggling all the things we do, trying to make it all shine. This weekend, New Tracks Weekend is packed with brand new and recent releases that we’re keen to share. Because they’re keen. Headliners include Bathe, HoneyHead (another surprisingly engaging Russian dreampop release), the debut single from Drown, Cathedral Bells, Japanese Heart Software, Linda Guilala (read this morning’s praise report here), Seasurfer, Nax, The Churchhill Garden, Sadfields, The Orange Kyte, Sungaze, Corriendo Por El Bajo, Cosmos in Collision and so much more. We’re ready to accompany you all weekend, tugging at your ears with new sounds. That’s not weird, is it?
And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Radio Supernova, Distressor, VIM, Inbetween Movies, Galaxina, Pure Hex, Darksoft (out today!), Citrus Clouds (premiered here), Intermere, Guilty Giraffe, slush, The Howling Fog, Give Up to Failure and much more. Call it a win!
New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
