We kick off the weekend with the expansive new LP from Seasurfer. It’s practically two albums in one, with the sweeping grandeur Seasurfer is known for, and a danceable backbeat that keeps the synth haze fully focused and in frame. It’s like the Christmas bonus you weren’t expecting, but thrilled to open. We’re also keen on the new singles from Leeds artist Bored at My Grandmas House (pictured above). With a new EP dropping 5 February, all indications is that it’ll leave an enduring mark on the charts. And we’ll deep-dive into the debut album from flowerbomb, which we’ve been following since early 2017. This D.C. collective is ready for your full attention, thankyouverymuch. We’re spinning up Graywave, Habitants, The Voices, Superdrone, Apartmentos Acapulco, Color Crush, Ellenoir, Harvey Waters, Art Dave, Hayien, Mourning Collective, Last Victorian Death Squad, Miners, nebenschau, Spirit System, There’s Talk, shalloboi, Voluptuous Panic and so much more!

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Fotoform, Crystal Canyon, The Blue Herons, Polara, Pastel Coast, Marta Movidas, Cats Never Die, Muun Bato, Plaisir, Last Tourist, Hovering, Bruises, Jellybelly, Deanna Faye, Nightcrush, mood room, Damn Vamps, FEWS, Socialskills, OhNothing and more. We were born for this.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!

They’re new, they’re hot: DKFM face masks are available for a limited time here!
More merch options available in the DKFM Gear Shop, slightly late for holiday shopping.
