DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
Weekend is won! We’re spinning up San Francisco-based Bad Visuals (pictured above), with their fresh take on a classic sound. But we’re also thrilled to get hands ’round new tunes from Misty Coast, Blankenberge, Swallow the Rat, Shady Bug, Holy Drone, Llollyanna, Tired, Star Horse, Deafcult, Barrie, Jupiter Sprites, Cathedral Bells, and classic gems we’ve unearthed from Au Revoir Borealis. Plus we’re deep into the new release from TBTCI Records, celebrating Latin American sounds on Come On Feel The NoiZe- Vol. 3 – Viva Mexico! It’s a full weekend, indubitably.
And that’s in addition to Swervedriver, Submotile, Twin Drugs, Twin Oaks, Wild Signals, Wake in June, Deep Cut, The Twilight Sad, Key Out, and Eternal Something. We’ve got fresh singles from Solferino, Rei Clone, Pinkmilk, Makthaverskan, Guest Directors, Funeral Advantage, FOG, The Foreign Resort, Catervas, Brim Liski and much more. I think we’re well covered.
New Tracks Weekend is begun 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our NEW branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
