So much freshness, you won’t require a mint. We’re wide and deep with new releases this weekend, and can’t wait to stuff them all into your ears! New singles from Fragile Animals (pictured above), WESTKUST, Velveteen Riot, She Sir and XO are just the tip of the iceberg. We’re taking a deep dive into new albums from Rei Clone, Desperate Journalist, Funeral Advantage and Chain Wallet, just to name a few. Brand new LP from Day & Dream certainly impresses… you may remember the lead vocalist Abby Camaya from her work in Let’s Be Loveless, still in rotation around these parts. Your ears will certainly perk up when you hear her voice, layered on top of a compelling guitar churn. What else? Just to name some: Lavender Blush, Astragal, Battery Point, Flaural, Blarescape, Lake Pleasant, Semaphore, Russian Baths, Le SuperHomard, Crushed Up, Spotlights, Mint Field, Sunbloom, Moon Loves Honey, Vicious Blossom, Secret Attraction, Velveteen Riot, Kill The Moose, Anemone and so much more. If we’ve said it before, it’s especially true now: we’re well overpacked for this journey.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh treats, including NIIGHTS, Piroshka, Star Horse, Strawberry Licor, Youngest of Elders , SPC ECO, Cellar Doors, Lazy Pilgrims, Spotlight Kid, Big Bite, CLNИ, Dres_, Sheer, Knifeplay, SPOOL, Grave Pool, Fiasco, Dreams of Empire, d.e.b.b.i.e., LEATHERS, Movie Brain, Old Soul Dies Young, Reverbcore, otom, Steeple Remove, Versing, undone, Sungaze, Movie Brain, sweetsoak… the beat goes on and on.

New Tracks Weekend is begun 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM,  on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
