DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
Still plenty of new (and somewhat recent) tracks to share, even though it’s a “bridge week” between holidays. We’re celebrating new releases from Cigarettes for Breakfast, KILDREN, Luster, A Shoreline Dream, slow quit, sanzameku, Northern Gloom, Ally Nicholas, Lwna, Hollow Street, Kallsup (pictured above, we’re going deeper than the early singles we’d celebrated), and the debut from Good Day Father: a collaboration between Brian Futter from Catherine Wheel and Tanya Donelly from Belly and Throwing Muses. It’s the 2026 surprise you didn’t see coming, but will welcome with open arms (and ears).
And all that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Now Now, Still, Velvet, The Florist, Katrina, trishé, Hattara, Sunflower Heaven, Air Belgrade, lunar trips, angelsigh, bildervondrausen, Luke Im ur fuzzer, and a tasty cover morsel from The Blue Herons. More music than time, we’ll pack in all the clock allows.
New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
