Weekends like this, we consider ourselves lucky. There’s simply so much to share, and we think you’ll fall in love just as we have. First and foremost: the new album from Pastel Dream (pictured above). While we as a staff are working on our list of top albums of the first half of 2018, Pastel Dream drops Too Much Too Fast. As the calendar turns to July, Pastel Dream has thrown down the gauntlet for the second half of the year: top this. It’s a carefully-crafted album, filling the sweet spot between early Jay Som feels and classic Crescendo flourishes. We can’t think of a better LP to kick off the summer season. But we’re thrilled to promote the most recent release from Seventeen Years Old and Berlin Wall, finally available on Bandcamp for international audiences. We’ve got fresh new tunes from Tender Age, Vintage Flowers, Tonemirror, The BV’s, Sweam, Tip Top Tellix, Sustains, Sungazing, Sleepwalk, La Naissance, Holy Forrest, Glaze, and BLANCO. To top it off, we’re sneaking in choice cuts from the forthcoming album from Fir Cone Children, due shortly on Blackjack Illuminist. The controlled chaos is channeled into bite-sized tunes, and there’s a whole world here to explore.

It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others.
