Based on sheer volume of new tracks submissions, you’d think it was Bandcamp Friday (it’s not, but it will resume in September). More new releases, and more track-for-track quality, than we’re used to on any given weekend. Albums, we’re celebrating Horsegirl, Just Mustard, Gone, Droopies, Animal Ghosts, Jōetsu Shore, Kamikaze Nurse (pictured above), Pure Hex, Minaxi, and select album tracks from Les Manteez. And those are just the albums. We’re here to celebrate new singles and EPs from (mouse), DA/ZE, Nebula Glow, Lost Echoes, Darkswoon, Color Crush, Dead Rituals, Fleur du mal, DETECTS, Night Tapes, Ease, Hammock, Leaving Time, Grave Pool, Infinite Vacation, Loomer, puppy angst, Taker, Static Orbit, Velvet, Side Thing, The Haunted Youth, Tommy Oeffing, Zoon, LSDays, The Umbrellas, and Worse. It’s our largest haul of quality, genre-relevant tunes in recent memory.
And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Panda Riot, Collider, Softcult, J. Francis, all under heaven, LAUNDER, Melting Palms, an ocean of embers, Misty Coast, Pencey Sloe, Momma, The KVB, Tennis System, Wilt, Ex Girls, Holy Coves, Mayzie, акульи слёзы, and some well-textured post rock tones from Under The Sun. We’ll keep you on the cutting edge, all weekend.
New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others.
