SO much newness to bring you. We’re thrilled to premiere some gorgeously breezy tunes from Sutter. The Catching Feathers EP will be unleashed 17 June, but we’ve got a sneak peak all this weekend, and we think you’ll adore it as much as we do. We’re in love with the second release from STOMP TALK MODSTONE (pictured above), who continue to have a carefully-crafted vision of the sound, and where they want to take it. The new album from Ecke Wu lives in a sonic neighborhood adjacent to Cocteau Twins’ Victorialand LP, and doesn’t suffer for the comparison. The new album Rain from Cuerpos Cósmicos will bring Julee Cruise vibes, and doesn’t suffer for the comparison. We’re loaded with new tunes from Hatchie, Nothing, Life on Venus, Newmoon, Ghost Patterns, Mad Honey, The Stargazer Lilies, Apple Orchard, Sintia, Corona Revolver, Skullcrusher, Day Aches, Resplandor, The Foreign Resort, Spunsugar, Cloud Cloud, Another Heaven, Silver Rose, Ancient Channels, Superocean, Tape Deck Mountain, Zoongideewin, SIANspheric, Dinky, Afor Gashum and so much more.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Palm Haze, Bathe Alone, Cathedral Bells, Palm Ghosts, Sooner, Nest Egg, Babbling April, Monotronaut, Sahara, Thud, Stems, Teen Idle, Seer Believer, The Churchhill Garden, Prepare My Glider, Silver Liz, The Virgance, True Believer, CAPITOL, Winter, The Great Artiste, Topographies, AMSAY, Waves Crashing, Sleepy Crow, pam risourié, Young Lovers, Secret Shame and MUCH more. We’ve got you covered, all weekend.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
