March Madness indeed. We’ve spent many hours separating the wheat from the chaff, and we’re finally ready to bring you the awesome. This weekend, we’re “long” the new album Abyss from Pastel Ghost, and happy to introduce the proggy-gazey-trippadelic sounds of Ireland’s Tuath. We tease with the newest sounds from Noir for Rachel, Tennis System and Foliage, and play at the edges of My Invisible Friend, Mannequins, Wild Meadows, Witness 9, Talking Bush, Italy’s Good Morning Finch, Blackpool Astronomy and Honeymoon. Plus we’ll be featuring the excellent Ride covers from TBTCI’s Ride tribute, including Jaguwar, Crisis Arm, Ask For Joy, Ceremony, Car Crash Sisters, Bloodhounds on My Trail, In Her Eye, and Last Leaf Down.
Not content to stop, we’re pushing the new albums from Winter, Spectres, Native Lights, Light FM, The Union Trade, and Human Colonies. Plus Malka, Monster Treasure, Winnebago, Depth & Current, Venera 4 and loads more. Our March Madness bracket includes much new music, and zero basketball.
8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Latin America relay: try Radio Terra. And still commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.
As always, thanks for being a part of our adventure, and buy new music from emerging artists!
