Bloody ‘ell though. First the website hosting company suffers a fatal error, taking hours to recover. Then we get multiple messages from Europe, suggesting our broadcast had collapsed (it hadn’t, the E.U. is experiencing an internet usage surge that’s straining capacity). Then Bandcamp offers up a full day where they give all purchase money raised direct to platform artists, without taking their usual administrative cut… and they’ve been able to offer intermittent service today at best, as the channel is flooded with altruistic music buyers. Finally, folks in our segment releasing fresh and rare tracks right up to airtime. So BLAH. We’re juggling as fast as we can.

We’re chuffed to bump out new music and fresh tracks from, in no particular order: crush (pictured above), Laveda, Twin Oaks, Winona Dryver, Tearjerker, Lost Echoes, Moaning, The Electric Sea Gospel, Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, Aura Zorba, The Radio Dept., Overdriver, Whimsical, Sustains, There’s Talk, Dream Tent, Moving Panoramas, Weathering, COLLAPSE, Spectres, FOG, Oxy, HYLA, girlongirl, It’s For Us, SirenSong and much more! Even in chaos, we’ve got this.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Uniforms, The Bilinda Butchers, Drowsy, SASAMI, Life on Venus, Gold Cage, bdrmm, Daydream Cathedral, Phosphene, Nectar, Aurea Aetas, Pale Blue Pony, Superocean, Toner, Clone, Last Tourist, Ditch Days, Cryptolog, Guilty Giraffe, Velveteen, The Black Fever, worse. and more! We’re ready for a long weekend, camped indoors. We’ll keep you company.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
