The whirlwind that was DreamGaze ATX II is in the books, and it exceeded all expectations. From the bands to the fans to the sweetly textured sounds emanating from all ports, it was a truly magical weekend. All of us at DKFM thank all who played a role, large or small, in making it epic. We’ll have posted some photo and video galleries in the next week. But there’s new music to be spun! And boy howdy is there plenty of it. Agent Blå (pictured above) released the first single from their new album, and it’s hard not to get excited for this release. Hoping perhaps for a more expansive tour this year? Brisbane’s Fragile Animals dropped their new EP last night, and it’s damn certain to graduate to permanent rotation in a hot minute. There’s simply not a false step on it, as it serves as a culmination of some impressive recent output. Now Fragile Animals have reached cruising altitude, and there’s no coming down. But there’s so much we’re spinning up this weekend: She Sir, Ioanna Gika, Phantom Chatter, Dead Sea, Tamaryn, Teen Body, Heavy Heart, Echo November, Mostly Scared, Tijuana Taxi, Foxes in Fiction, American Football, Black Nite Crash, Sadness (radio edited for brevity), Jet Black, Obscenity Plugs, Under Electric Light, Snowball II, Fauvely, The Empty Sleeps, OKO TYGRA, Castoff, Chkbns, Crown of Pity (album arrives soon!), Snowman and MUCH more! We’re just catching up, there’s so much gold in the ether right now. We’ll catch it and sprinkle it over the decks with haste.
