New Tracks Weekend

New Tracks Weekend, March 7-9

As before, we’ve got Nothing for you this weekend. Literally, Nothing. Choice cuts from Guilty of Everything, via Relapse Records (we’ve waited too long for this one), plus brand new Lorelle Meets the Obsolete. Add in Manon meurt with tasty new sounds from Czechoslovakia. Sprinkle in some pre-release awesomeness from Baltimore’s Should, whose fourth LP The Great Pretend drops March 25 on the Words on Music label. Then join us in welcoming the return of Sharesprings, Pastel Ghost, The History of Colour TV, The Mary Onettes and Contrast, plus we welcome back staff favorites Hooton Tennis Club. We’ll round out the newest adds with Ash Code, Static Daydream, Mode Moderne and Workhouse, and top off with recent classics from This Love is Deadly and Relay.
8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 order flagyl station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Latin America relay: try Radio Terra. And commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Full (we think?) artist listing follows:
