A new weekend, and a new raft of fresh tracks for your consideration is breaking through. Headliners this weekend, most won’t surprise: Sungaze, Fragile Animals, Winter, Deary, The Virginia Planes, Welcome Strawberry, Copperplate (to name just a few). But we’re also celebrating the triumphant return of The Giraffe Told Me in My Dream (pictured above) after an extended recording hiatus. It’s a stellar release. A few other stellar releases that should reside “above the fold”? New sounds from Halou, Moonpools, and hazy waters. You can expect some heavy rotation for these specific tracks. But there’s so much more! We’re out here sharing appreciation for BED, ampule, Bleach Lab, Errunhrd, Ceruleum, delayed minds, crystal corridors, nabeel (نبيل), Picture Postcard, Six Impossible Things, Tannhauser Orchestra and more! We’re packed, we’ll fit in all we can.

And all that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Chatham Rise (feat. Paula Kelley of Drop Nineteens), Steve Queralt, No Joy, HUNDREDTH, Slow Crush, mariin k., Charming, Coral Grief, dirshu6, Host Family, march dove, Shrinestone, Ponpoko in the Distance, Shojo, linoleum dream, Shin Yun Su,  ENDLESSS, Psychiatrist, Emerald Comets, Lentamente, Candy Moore, Poloklubben, Stray Fossa, Altai, pleaselevitate, and chirrp. More music than clock to plug it into.

New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!

Wait, new stickers?!?
