Up-to-the-minute freshness. Because sometimes the best releases drop just before airtime. Our new album headliners include Iris (pictured above), Medicine, and Tombstones In Their Eyes (out today on SomewhereCold). Singles headliners include the return of Lorelei (the new one, not the classic one), whose last single was a tantalizing glimpse of what this talented duo was capable of; the new single cashes in on early promise, guaranteed to send chills. We’re deep into new music from Chasms, Giant Surprise, JAMHED, Keep, Japan Review, Laveda, Jasper’s Mindmelt, Les Manteez, Magic Shoppe, MONAD, The Churchhill Garden, Novanta, Night Hikes and more.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including RAY, Daybehavior, Fragile Animals, Los Marcianos, For Tracy Hyde, Babe Corner, Luby Sparks, Bathe, CAPITOL, Secret Knives, Chrome Rose, Failed Flowers, Girl Gaze, Hazel English, GOODGIRL, Graywave, Lake Ruth, Longingsky, Greet Death, marcos y molduras, Static Daydream, Pure Hex, Superdrone, Plainbow, Subzero Fun, So Many Lines, Voluptuous Panic, Whimsical, Turnover, The Howling Fog, Tús Nua, Bad Sav and so much more. We’re loaded down with sound.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
