It’s a Bandcamp Friday, AND multiple album contenders for AOTY all dropped today. That’s a bunch to juggle, innit? First and foremost, the Drop Nineteens reunion LP Hard Light unlocked today, and we’ve been singing its praises all week. That’s headline enough, but there are three contenders hot on heels: Crystal Canyon (pictured above) have been producing quality material for years now, but Stars and Distant Light shows them reaching another level entirely. Add to that the compelling new albums from Hotline TNT and We Melt Chocolate, and that’s a front line team that any month would be proud to feature, much less a single weekend. More headliners? Yes we have them. Mo Dotti, Crux of Faith, The Veldt, Futureheaven, Ian Sweet, Misty Coast, Rocket, THALA, Paraphernalia, a wicked impressive split from Momma and Narrow Head, YEAHRS, and Thermal are all ready for “hot rotation”. Backing up this front line?
