A fine and carefully-curated crop of sounds on tap this weekend, including pre-release previews from Trillion, the return of Starflyer 59, the glory that is Bleach Lab (produced by the legendary Stephen Street), and the next-level album from Seattle’s Fotoform (pictured above). As if that weren’t enough, we’re thrilled to spin up and introduce fresh sounds from Ursula, bluemoongirl, Le Blonde, Bubble Tea and Cigarettes, Maida Rose, llawgne, Terra Pines, Young Prisms (their first new sounds in nearly a decade), Future Theory, and Portland standouts worse. (yes that’s worse. with a period at the end). Add to that raft of sonic sparkle some new sounds from Robin Guthrie, Morosis, The Nervous Hex, Vollam, Звёздная Грань, Molly Nilsson, The Chantepleures, and a deep dive into the new gazey compilation from Aspirin Age and Broken Sound Tapes, featuring standouts you know, and a few fresh surprises! It’s all here, all weekend.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Softsurf, Moaning Lisa, Roseville, Visitors/Ephemerons, Grivo, Bleed, The Sugar Petals, GRAZER, Luster Dust, Magnus Josefsson, Startographers, Wynona Bleach, Timelost, Softcult, Nax, The KVB, Parannoul, Seven Hour Days, Orton, Nothing, Under The Sun, MAYU, Jesse D’Kora, Humdrum, Marlin’s Dreaming, Japanese Heart Software, Lunar Isles, Margot, Flu Flu, ETHICA, Captive Frame, fleshwater, cathedral bells, Separable (feat. Color Crush), DETECTS, Asian Glow, sonhos tomam conta, All Eyes and much more. We’re booked, can’t fit any more.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support.
