DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
To be fair, this public update promotes the last two weeks of new tracks in rotation, as last weekend provided time for programming only, not promotion. This post solves that, and gets us up to date. We’re celebrating new and sparkling sounds from Softcult, Alonekitty, bellweather, Drop Nineteens, Kallai (pictured above), Diffident Daffodils, Found Space, Leaving Time, Peel Dream Magazine, and Maud Anyways. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, we’re also sharing fresh sounds from The Quality of Mercury, Cold Equations, Future Theory, In The Afterglow, Tycho (feat. Paul Banks), Pálida Tez, The Virginia Planes, Luje, Floor Cry, No Suits in Miami, Future Nostalgia, Marni, Worm School, Marts and more! Let’s get this circus started.
And all that’s in addition to the previous weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Lorelle Meets the Obsolete, Just Mustard, Mint Tea, yujin, Bad Bloom, The Far Field, Trillion, Startographers, The City Gates, Tombstones In Their Eyes, Pale, Dramamine, Adiós Cometa, Vera Slö, Lowhours, dreamcoaster, Tribes of the city, elemantra, Binary Sunset, little truck, Dotsun Moon, nazire, Indoxables, Elandra and more. We’ll cram in all the clock allows.
New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
