New Tracks Weekend, October 3-5

We kick off New Tracks Weekend with honor and respect. We’ve waited a long year for the self-titled album from Deepfieldview. It’s a labor of love from all involved in the project. Danny Lackey’s original dreamy sounds are supported by a cast of all-stars, from Her Vanished Grace to Drowner. It’s a beautiful elegy that would make Danny proud, we adore it, and it’s officially released next week.
More? You want more? How about The History of Apple Pie? Or perhaps Blood Sister? Maybe the incredible new album from Spirit Lapse? All these things and more: new Landing, new Jigsaw Puzzle Glue, Teen Brains, Juvenile Juvenile, Novanta, Light FM, Ashrae Fax, Midwest Moms, and a repeat of our broadcast premiere from CQ. We’ve got this.
Plus we’re still pushing the latest and greatest sounds from Hush Pup, To The Wedding, Day Trip, Rich Girls, Downhill Willows, Foxes in Fiction, The Lees of Memory, metronidazole online australia Minipop, Schonwald, The Last King of England and more.
8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Latin America relay: try Radio Terra. And still commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.

We’re not trying to tell you anything you didn’t know when you woke up today.
