Spooky weekend treats, all for you! Kicking off with fresh world premieres from the upcoming Airs / The Cherry Wave split, due next week. Plus we’ll dive into fresh frights from Pity Sex, No Vacation, Giant Surprise, Mercury Girls, Kissing Party, Stella Diana, Pure Bathing Culture, Shy-Low, Synapse Lens, Thunderbolt 650, Fire Behaving as Air, Voices from Deep Below, Strange Mangers, Lost Tapes, Sourin, Vlimmer and Trashlord. OH! And of course every track from the new Cheatahs album. AND of course the new single from SHEER. Just that packed.
That’s not to neglect recent additions from Dråpe, Lights that Change, Future Shapes, The Yellow Traffic Light, In a Lonely Place, Chain of Flowers, Trementina, Blacanova, Eerie Summer, Shocking Pinks, Sunshine & The Rain, Wildhoney, DIIV, Beach House, Youth Pool… you gotta believe, we’ve booked up the whole weekend.
New Tracks Weekend kicks off 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continuing through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Live365 listeners: it’s your votes that count! Your thumbs-up / thumbs down ratings determine what is kept in permanent rotation. Listen via the Live365 station page at DKFM, on iTunes Internet Radio under “Eclectic”, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. And still commercial-free everywhere! You can even keep up with the new tracks and artists you may have missed: we’re live-scrobbling via our last.fm profile, and live-tweeting every track on our sub-Twitter DKFMTracks account. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed.
When The Sun Hits premieres on DKFM this Wednesday evening.
Do. Not. Miss.
