DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
Another Bandcamp Friday in the books, as it were, and so much new music to sift through. We’ve sorted through hundreds of emails and pitches, and we’ve settled on these artists to showcase this weekend… headliners include Drift, Hazel English, Gloomer (pictured above, photo credit: Darin Milliner), Letting Up Despite Great Faults, and Glassmanet. And that’s just the front line, we’ve a much deeper bench: Medejin, flyingfish, Sadness, Tomates en Verano, We Melt Chocolate, seventeen years, You Wish, Twin Rains, Waves Crashing, Shojo, Lilac Haze, Minnows, Francis of Delirium, Metrophobia, Fulvetta, Dramamine, bed bug guru, Hey Calamity, deary, ALCATUNE, and so much more. We’re ready for the weekend!
And all that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including julie, Seablite, The Joy Formidable, Wall Drugs, Lilliana Villines, Eaves Wilder, Ceruleum, Fin del Mundo, My Sister Maura, Catatonic Suns, Bluegill, Mad Honey, The Julies, Fawns of Love, Maud Anyways, Luce Cargo, Holy Fawn, Estrada, Spunsugar, Adam Sweaters, Slow Pulp, angelsigh, Nature Trip, Swartz et, Cherry Glazerr, Six Impossible Things, Off Contact, PANIK FLOWER, The Market Flies, Novanta, The Smokey Honey Bluesband, and Soul Blind. We’re overbooked, we’ll spin as much as the weekend allows.
New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Live365, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
