Any weekend that features the return of Vivian Girls (pictured above) and somesurprises (featured here), with full and rich new albums? Well that’s a gold star weekend indeed. And that’s just the tip of a mighty big musical iceberg this weekend. We’re pushing the latest and greatest from Say Sue Me, No Aloha, The Map Dept., Soccer Mommy, HIGH-LOW, etherpool, Lunar Vacation, Lavender, Errunhrd, Future Silence, Animal Ghosts, Audiobaton, Love Fade, Tombstones In Their Eyes, Pia Fraus, The Cult of Free Love, Magic Seas, Basement Revolver, Juliper Sky (a brilliant sneak peek of new material to come!), Swervedriver and MUCH more! So much new, pressed down, shoveled into a torrid weekend rotation.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh injections, including PINE, Medicine, The Stargazer Lilies, Spunsugar, The Cherry Wave, Timelost, Lazy Legs, Claire Pitt Wigmore, Is Modest, Hanford Reach, Daybehavior, and 7AM. We’re ready for a weekend-long party.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
