Holiday weekend means odd or reduced release schedule, yet we’ve still got surprises in store! So let’s get you a rundown, shall we? We’re spinning up new sounds from Lorelle Meets The Obsolete, choice cuts from the new Dotsun Moon LP, Sungaze, Fragile Animals (pictured above), Shallow (soon playing an epic festival in Toronto we’d give a limb to go see), a recent classic (but new to us) from Clarion, plus KILDREN, Smalltown Morals, Los Astronomos Del Desierto, Salt+, NULL/VØID, Samt Martin and more. We’ll plug in all the clock allows.

And all that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Greet Death, silk, deary, Salvana, QUBINOIX, scoreboard, No Joy, eyewash, Little Miss Echo, Cloud Studies, Yucky Bangs, the foxgloves, Project Diem, Left at Orion, rocket rules, Cats Never Die, Swiss Portrait, opal, OutControlJoys, Ghost Days, Mini Trees, crushed, Dream Iridescent, Glimmer, Chameleons and more. It’s sure to be a wild ride through new music discovery.

New Tracks Weekend is begun at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
