When the problem of dual headliners pops up, you have to go with seniority. Two top-quality releases, the edge goes to the veterans. We’re prepared for deep dives into the new albums from Amusement Parks on Fire (pictured above), their first full LP in decades, and Lightning Bug: a rich, languid tapestry that bends between dreamy, hazy and folky. Two top-tier albums, both worthy of celebration and exploration. We’ll spend the weekend introducing you to the work. But we’ve got so much to share: new music from Dead Horse One, FLDPN (the artist formerly known as Sway… new sonic direction, same engaging warmth), Answers, Sketch Jets, Magic Wands (sneak preview!) Postcards, Spunsugar, Zetra, Yuragi, The Real Sea, Sky is Alright, Nax, Sungaze, vievv, T R A C E S, Fogbow, A Lesser Version, plums, Ana Lete, RAY, Jim Lindsay (April Events) and so much more. We’re packed and prepped to entertain.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including Good Morning TV, Heavenward, SPC ECO, Trophy Grief, Sleep Overload, Wybercron, Tús Nua, Ridgeway, Secrets Of The Third Planet, Skot Kremen, RAINSTEAM&SPEED, Sound Fiction, Violent Dreams, Starry Eyed Cadet, Космос на потолке, Saves the Witch and much more! We’ve got your weekend covered, end-to-end hazy bliss.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a think you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support
