A deep and varied bench steps up for your attention this weekend, from dreamy to hazy to fuzzy, and we’re here to celebrate all of it. First among headliners, Sunstinger from Fife, Scotland (pictured above). It’s a series of perfectly formed jewels (well, outside of one radio edit, but, hey… we’re radio) that demands attention and appreciation. We’ll pay respect. We’re deep into the new releases from 93millionmilesfromthesun, gloomchurch, Wolf Alice, Old Moon and more. Plus we’re playing some great sounds at the margins, from Starflyer 59 Wednesday, Syupeo Jenjang, Nightcrush, Lights That Change, Martes Niebla, Soft Blue Shimmer, Piroshka, mon cher, Kraus, Deafheaven, Lazy Eye, Slaney Bay, Cold Beat, Pluto Is A Planet, Kanashii, Glycerin, Fogbow, El Glum, Hayien, Day Aches, Frown Line, Devotions, bubble map, Cold Heaven, Bleached Cross, Abbreviations, Catatonic Suns, Emperor of Ice Cream and so much more. Packed with sonic sparkle this weekend.

And that’s in addition to last weekend’s fresh sonic injections, including A Place To Bury Strangers, Bridge Dog, Drown (hfx), King Woman, Ellie Meriz, Crux of Faith, seizure sister, Hyla, Zelma Stone, Trophy Grief, Spirit System, Nature Trip, Emmaline Twist, Moaning Lisa, VAZUM, The Handshakes, Separable, Mental Map, Kurl, Fuzzy Side Up, Seven Hour Days, Alice Gift, Cielo Oceano, Sightings and much more. Listen all you want, we’ll make more.

New Tracks Weekend is launched at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Icecast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Limited beta: we’re now up on Mixcloud Live, website AND app, if that’s a thing you’d dig. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!

And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support
