DKFM The buzzing in your ears is completely natural.
Something for everyone. That’s what New Tracks Weekend provides, and this weekend is no exception. The new double single from Trauma Ray (pictured above, courtesy Deborah Sexton) only builds on their immensity, as they prepare to tour the U.S. West Coast shortly. We’ve got hands on the new albums from Agent Blå, Vicious Blossom, and Crown of Pity. We’re seasoning with some fresh tracks from a credible cast: Teenage Wrist, MOLLY, Birthday Girl, syrup go on, W I S H, Tired Up, Sunlotus, Little Church, The Age of Colored Lizards, Spunsugar, Laveda, Blue Unit, Helms Alee, Zooey, Josefin Ohrn and the Liberation, and a whole bunch more.
And that’s in addition to last weekend’s gems, including No Suits in Miami, Stranger Kings, Lowly, So Totally, Starflyer 59, Sidewave, Versing, and Spotlights. Slowness, Moon Panda, Nurse, Charivari and much more. Surely we have this soundtrack well in hand.
New Tracks Weekend is begun 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and continues through Sunday at midnight Eastern, 9 Pacific. It’s the first weekend we’ll spin some of these tracks, and may be the last weekend for some others. Remember, you can listen listen via the station playlist page at DKFM, on Shoutcast, and on TuneIn Radio for iPhone/Android/Windows. Plus we have our branded apps for Apple’s iOS and Android: listeners can vote on all the new tracks, helping us determine what graduates to permanent rotation. Your voice counts! We’re live-scrobbling once again via last.fm. Now you’ll know what you heard, or catch up on what you missed. Keep up with our new Facebook group for some real-time discussions of what you’ve heard, and sound off!
And, as always, thanks for listening, and thank you for your support!
